Overview
Hiro is a companion app for Sushiro Hong Kong. This policy explains the information used to provide its store, queue, saved-ticket, notification, and subscription features.
Information Hiro uses
- Approximate device location, when you grant permission, to sort nearby branches and select a nearby branch for a saved ticket.
- Your saved ticket number and selected branch, stored on your device to show ticket progress.
- A device notification token and tracked-store or ticket preferences, used to deliver the alerts you choose.
- Subscription status, processed through RevenueCat and Apple to provide Hiro Pro access.
How information is used
Hiro uses this information to show relevant branch and queue data, keep your saved ticket available, deliver opted-in notifications, and verify subscription access. Location access, notifications, and saved-ticket tracking can be managed through the app and your device settings.
Service providers
Hiro uses Apple for App Store purchases and notification delivery, RevenueCat for subscription management, Firebase Cloud Messaging for notification delivery, and Sushiro Hong Kong services for store and queue information. Each provider handles information under its own privacy practices.
Data retention
Saved ticket details remain on your device until you replace or remove them. Notification tokens and subscription records are retained by the relevant service providers according to their operational requirements and policies.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated as Hiro evolves. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
